  1. I actually read a court case made against a boy of 12 years old in the city of Haarlem in 14th century by the Lord for poaching 3 rabbits on his land. He was publicly hanged for his transgressions against the Lord. Imagine that, a kid getting up the stairs of a wooden scaffold to be hanged, flanked by a few man at arms leading him up there and an actual executioner standing there, ridiculous innit. I like the time period, but definitely wouldn't want to run into a scene like that, you can't mess with time (if you actually could;) but jeeezzz.
