That's why you need free higher education in the US.⬅and healthcare They can learn something very useful for the future, because those jobs ain't comming back, even if (and that's a huge if) China starts to slip on that. Because those jobs are moving to Vietnam, Cambodia and Indonesia already as we speak. China is currently focused on competing with the EU for high quality products and services, letting go of the factory jobs moved from America to them, that one's made the US economy so great. But like i said, those jobs ain't coming back and are already moving to the before mentioned countries, nothing can stop that. If the US doesn't focus on a knowledge based economy (and it's way behind now, in regards to both the EU and China) it's not going to make it as one of the 4 to 5 strong economies/global economic powerhouses of the near future. To stay relevant and competitive you'll need a Social Democracy style government in a Western concept of the word (EU), or become a severly autocratic near dictatorial state,...⬅that last one is Trump's/the Republican but also the Corporate Democrats preferred option. If that's not to your taste, but you still want your cake and eat it,...well, vote Bernie Sanders 2020.
