Yes, not to mention they are poisonous to every mammal and insect outside of Australia.
The debris of the Eucalyptus leafes poison the ground aswell, making it more habitable for other Eucalyptus tree's but not much else, including the indigenous floura and fauna.
This debris doesn't get absorbed by non Australian fungi, insects or animals because of its poisonous properties and hence a buildup of now dry Eucalyptus debris becomes a fire hazard, hence the many fires in areas with Eucalyptus tree's planted for commercial exploitation outside of Australia.
Eucalyptus tree's like ash ground, their seeds are tuff and depend on forest fires, so they are the first trees to grow back after a forest fire, pushing the native plant, insect and animal life even further to extinction.
We should cut every Eucalyptus tree not properly planted in designated areas down, and patrol for saplings that have taken hold outside these areas and destroy them,....companies that exploit these trees outside of Australia should be made to pay for this effort.
