  1. After WWII West Germany went though a period of denazification in all facets of public life for decade's, up until the 2000's. This process wasn't even started in East Germany by the late 90's, there's your awnser to that conundrum. In Austria that process hasn't even ever been on the agenda politically,....hence the extreme high numbers of cases in Österreich of xenophobia though out its entire society and institutions, political or otherwise.
