Firstly he's Haitian, that's an island in the Caribbean that happens not to currently be tied to any EU country as territory, so, he really doesn't have a say in the matter, neither should he. Secondly, he holds an US passport, again, not an EU country, that's twice his thoughts and say on the matter are irrelevant.
