Al-Nusra front in Syria and Lebanon ⬅(yes, the white helmets included) and Al-Islamia in Asia especially in the Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia are very active branches or affiliates of Al-Quaida, so I'd say they did more then just blow up a few buildings, they took over entire cities and regions killing more than a hundred thousand in the process after Osama Bin Laden's death. They are active in Saudi-Arabia were they enjoy Royal protection currently, they are active in Yemen murdering tens of thousands of people together with their Sunni Saudi allies as we speak, all after Osama Bin Laden's death. Al-Quaida is very active in Pakistan having close ties for decade's with the Pakistani Taliban and the Pakistani secret service the ISI, they are also very active in Afghanistan still,....all after Osama Bin Laden's death. Al-Quaida has been allowed to rebuild and s currently more powerful than any other terrorist network.
