Jacky Jackson In medieval Europe you were born in the same Religion as you're parent's too,...you were definitely not allowed as a Catholic to even marry a herritic Protestant you could be put to death for that. The same happened in predominantly Protestant countries there it was the other way round, and under both Religious regime's it wasn't allowed to be or marry a Lutheran, Evangelical, Menonite or Amish, if you were you'd be burned at the stake or hung drawn and quartered⬅ not kidding. If you'd turned you're back on you're state allowed religion you were killed in the most brutal way's possible. In all those countries it wasn't allowed to be a Jew, you were either told to pay more tax and couldn't join guilds and certain professions, or in the case's of the Kingdom of Spain, The Kingdom of France and the Kingdom of England you were told "convert or die" ! Later even to the 17th and early 18th centuries we started deporting cults like the Lutheran, Evangelical, Menonite and Amish to the new world because they were seen as herritic's and unwanted subversive elements in our societies, the one's that didn't or couldn't were killed. So even the Renaissance didn't do mutch to quell our bloodthirst, it took a good long time after that but we were allowed to question our religious authorities more. It will take time for the Muslim world to catch up,....what we did over the period of centuries they now have to do within a few decade's, quite a tall order don't you think ?!
