I have no idea what it is but even here in my country, Asians especially Koreans, Chinese and Japanese have a terrible reputation for driving. I do have my own story but that's just one incident, the only time i had a (what we call a ghost rider in the Netherlands) person driving on the wrong side of the highway, it was a Vietnamese guy.
Mind you, we drive 130KPH on that part of the highway, so it could have ended really really really badly, it was raining too.
He got pulled over by a motorcycle cop on the side,....later it was explained (in the papers) he didn't have a drivers license and was in the country only 3 months (illegally) working for a restaurant as a delivery guy, only he somehow ended up on the highway while he only had to deliver close to the restaurant not anywhere near the highway, turned out he had run a few red lights that day too and hit two parked cars in the city.
But I'm hearing stories like this and worse from all over Europe and North-America, what's up with that ?!

There's a tendency for Western man who come to Japan, China, Korea, Vietnam or any other Asian nation to date the local woman and in many cases the local woman are throwing themselves at these Western man, so they end up being spoiled for choice of mostly very beautiful woman.
Western woman who would normally be beating man of left and right just to cross the street in the West and can walk into a club or bar being surrounded by man in 5 minute's of arriving get a whole different reception in Asia by the Asian man.
They are interested in sex, but not a relationship because of family won't approve but alot has to do with them wanting a local girl to marry anyway, culture roles, finding Western Woman to independent and to different, etc, etc .(the exception just proves the rule)
The guy from the West isn't interested either anymore because these Asian woman are definitely spoiling them for choice,...so no chance.
It's a very common complaint i hear from Wester woman living in Asia everywhere, the guy's from the West aren't complaining though.

***** Hey,...no problem mate👍😆.But be aware that with certain countries if your a citizen and you have children abroad especially if you lived overseas more then a decade you have to notify that these children were born and register them shortly after birth (3 month period max) with your last local council or embassy of your country, because otherwise it can happen that these children are not recognised as citizens or the process becomes very hard to get them recognised as sutch!
This is the case with British citizens now (it's a new rule) and it works retrospectively too, so definitely something to look out for! This doesn't apply for Dutch citizens btw,...if your parents are born Dutch to at least 1 Dutch born parent! If your a Dutch passport holder but are not of Dutch decent or your parents aren't born in the Dutch Kingdom, then this rule does mean you loose your right to return to the Kingdom!
But it's official now, the Dutch passport is now a class 3 power ranking, so we have a few more countries we can enter visa free and for longer periods, one is being worked on with Japan and Switzerland, so we might get bumped up 1 class more toward a class 2 power ranking in the near future!
For Japan we can already stay 90 day's on a simpler visa procedure and it's looking like we are returning the favor by saying let's do visa free between the two countries all together, same with Switzerland!
Not bad for this little Kingdom 👍😆.

Change in ZA ?!
I wouldn't go that far Winston.
I've got relatives in Klein Fontein and a few aqcuentance's dotted around ZA,...most are still very unhappy with the demise of the Apartheid regime and hate the ANC with a vengeance, calling them terrorist, even Nelson Mandela.
The pure and vile racism that still comes out of alot of White South-African's mouths regarding black's or "Ka***r's" as they stil call them is disgusting.
It's omnipresent and habitually drilled in to most of them to this day.
Demeaning terms like a Bantu male or female while referring to black people is still used,...like they are talking about Ape's not humans.⬅that shocked me to the core.
And the "scouting" that has more similarities with the Hitler youth of the 1930's is disturbing aswell.
Teaching the kids to shoot gun's, battle tactics, saluting the old flag of the Apartheid regime and "the Oranje Free state" flag while chanting death to the ANC and all Ka***r's, than casually followed by a prayer moment was an eye opener.
And it comes from the Black's aswell,...it's: death to the Whites, chanting "Kill the Boer" while dancing and having a party + a massive BBQ and stages with live music while some racist black person occasionally takes the microphone on stage to keep the crowd chanting these dangerously inflammatory derogatory terms directed at Whites.
Even openly stating to go out and kill white farmers,...take the land and the livestock,...it's terrifying as a white guy myself.
No, the rainbow nation has failed,...i'm sorry to say Winston.

Isn't that not just common in very nationalistic nations worldwide ?
I've noticed trough the years on social media that the "glass hart" syndrome is worse with citizens of countries that have their flags waiving everywhere 24/7 for no good reason, or stickered on their cars and houses habitually, usually accompanied by very weird nationalistic slogans.
Countries like:
The USA.⬅definitely top in class in regards to this issue.
China.⬅a very close second lately.
North-Korea.⬅Yikes 😲⁉
South-Korea.
Argentina.
Brazil.
The UK.⬅1 and 2 got the idea from them i suspect.
France.⬅😧.
Spain.⬅Viva del Rei, Viva Espania😞.
Italy.⬅we know your mom makes it better,...she did for me😉😎.
Greece.⬅don't mention the Turks,...really don't😠❗
Turkey.⬅obnoxiously so, no idea why.
Israel.⬅insecurity i'm guessing, still annoying though.
Hungary.⬅why 😕⁉
The Ukraine.
Georgia.⬅don't mention their "Navy",...just don't😨❗
Russia.⬅Da tavarish, Sláva Rassia, "Russia stronk".⬅"k" was intentional xD.
I wish i was kidding.
Glass hart incoming in 3,...2,...1 ;).

@serpentza It's got a bad reputation in Europe for a reason, so does Liverpool and Manchester City,...don't get me started on Edinburgh Scotland,...Yikes.
But there's definitely change.
You've got CCTV everywhere in London and other major cities in the UK these days.
If you hide your face for one,....you'll actually get stopped by the police immediately and a ticket, it's £160,- fine if you do.
So the British surveillance state has well and truly taken hold since your visit in 1997.
But in 1997 it had a bad reputation aswell, it only got worse innit, especially on the knife crime, but gun crime is up too, London leads the way in crime figures in Western Europe.
It's safer in Moskou, i'm not kidding.
Most street thugs and heavy's in London these days make the Cray twins look like Mother Teresa.
But Londoner's have become more and more anti social,...don't look across the street into some random guys eyes, because before you know it you've got blarney (trouble) and get stabbed or badly beaten up and that's daylight, night time is worse.

Yeah, you find that in Japan and Korea aswell.
You could have majored in English on Oxford or Cambridge, but if you aren't either white or mediterranean white you won't get the job, it's that simple.
They'd rather hire sombody with a thick regional British, Australian, Canadian or American accent that fits the image they want, even with way less credentials than sombody ethnically Indian, Pakistani, Sri-Lankan, Black,....or Asian, etc with the right credentials (I'm European we don't consider Indians, Sri-Lankan and Pakistani "Asian", just an FYI)
So, i'm not suprised this is the case in China.
Ethnic based biases in Asian nation's are quite accepted socially.
Miss Japan,...a "Hafu"⬅itself a derogatory term, but generally used and accepted in Japan, was criticised for not being "Pure" Japanese by all the Japanese News outlets.
Her being half black was openly debated on Japanese talkshows in quite a disgustingly racist way, as if that was acceptable to do so,....and in Japan it apparently is.
These articles are still up,...never been removed either.
