  2. Its the same in the USA. People that pass for White in the USA wouldn't be seen in Europe as White in most cases or as racially ambiguous, people that are seen as brown in the USA would be seen in Europe as white (in lots of cases) depending on mostly heritage (Iberian, Greek, Italian) and facial properties deemed characteristic of white people. But luckily we in Europe have less of a problem with ethnicity vs the USA,....hence more people who are (in European eyes) racially ambiguous but have white or very light skin can pass mustard in the USA as white because of the privileges it brings there.
