It's not that bad,..the water there is slightly more acidic because of the mud soil and the vessel is made of North European Oak which is thicker because of the long cold winters, you'd be amazed by how good those hold over time ! We have even older Oak poles holding up most of the ancient capital city's center of Amsterdam and supporting structures made from the same Oak but dating back to the year 1100 and even the year 1010 on canals all over the Kingdom, not to mention buildings, Castles, etc, etc ! But those are just recent in our history terms, we have mutch older example in the Dutch Kingdom including a Roman fort 2000 years old with those same Oaks near the Dutch city of Nijmegen .

M.D. Hey,...no problem, archeology is cool 👍😆 .And we're lucky to have a Germanic/Nordic/Frysian culture going back at least 6000 years BC here in the Dutch Kingdom, my city was build on a place we're people lived from atleast the year 3500 BC, remains have been found, also containing North European Oak . So the year 1500 AD is like a week ago,...so to speak hahaha 😂,...damn were getting old 😲 lol .
