The UK COVID-19 curve is 6 weeks behind the EU, the US is about 6 weeks behind that (in New York, not the rest of the US) aka you are at least 3 months too early opening up since its only just now the EU is lifting some parts of the restrictions. This US reopening is not based on the science, it doesn't support the move for quite a while yet, still the USA does, so it's a pure economic move that disregards human life and the long term economic fallout to come in the USA.
