  1. Cohen did record Trump's private conversations with him. Cohen had seen close up, for years, how Trump and his children operate. Demanding blind loyalty from their subordinates and associations, but dropping people stone cold one's their purpose had been served and that person had no added value to them or became a possible liability. Cohen has given much of these recordings over to the Mueller investigation, but i'm sure he was holding back a few, hence the raid on his private residences and office, because the Mueller people were convinced of that to some degree aswell. Now, the leak to Buzzfeed didn't come from Mueller, he runs a tight ship apparently, and getting Robert Mueller to say anything himself to anyone not part of his office is like trying to squeeze blood from a stone, not gonna happen. But, he was apparently satisfied with Micheal Cohen's cooperation in the Mueller probe into Trump's alleged collusion with Russian's and possibly the Russian Government. Still, another office wasn't of that same opinion and opposed the deal made with Cohen, citing that "they felt, he hadn't given enough help and was holding back too much". Mueller for some reason is playing it safe, and taking his sweet time, he could be right in doing so, but the Southern NY district investigations against Trump are different in their approach, bulldogs by nature and have an alleged appetite for going after high profile characters to bring them down if they've broken the law. This office has historically been known to "leak" information to the public to aid their respective investigations. Somehow there's people from the Mueller investigation talking with the Southern NY district investigations people, which to some degree is natural. Buzzfeed has "allegedly" found two of these people connected to both willing to leak vital information to them, is what i think is going on here. The facts aren't disputed by Mueller's office, the leak is. And Kelly-Ann Conway, the Trump spin doctor, has tactically stayed away from publicly trying to spin this one, not wanting to get washed away in a possible tide of Senate hearings, possibly ending up on the wrong side of the law. Trump's denials don't pass the smell test here, so does the suspicious inaction of his usually very active spin doctor Kelly-Ann.
