The Russian's are the only one who posses an superpersonic cavitation torpedo, so you can bet your butt cheek's on the fact they actually possess a fully operational hypersonic tactical missle like this. They already possess several missile's that can defeat any Western anti missle system, the least of which can already go over 3500 kph while all Western anti missle systems (without exceptions) can't successfully track let alone shoot down any incoming enemy missle going over 2900kph, even with missile's going 2500kph they stand only a 20% or 30% change of successfully shooting one down depending on assets, range, terrain and weather conditions. (this will only get harder with Russian missile's equipped with countermeasures) So two things are ludicrous to the point of self delusional to think: 1st that the Russian's might be bluffing in the fact that they possess this capability. 2nd that we can in the near future do anything about it in any stretch of the imagination. The facts are,...this is the new status quo and has been for quite a while now actually. It has only come to the forefront of the publics attention because of President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin showing the world that yes, they've not only got supersonic tactical missile's going over 2900kph with countermeasures, but they've got hypersonic ICBM's aswell. Pointless to speculate on that, it's an exercise in futility.
