Please please find any other potential candidate in MTGs district in GA. There was a veteran who ran against her in 2022; hard to imagine that he wasn't better. Please please, Independent, GOP, Democrat, Tory, Whig, anybody. This MTG thing makes our enemies laugh at us everyday. Please. All of the Mount Rushmore guys approved this message. Plus all of the indigenous nations who hate Mount Rushmore. Help.

Midterm elections are right around the corner in 2026. 60 Senators and the House majority so we can pass legislation to repair some damage. No one stays on the sofa this time. βοΈπ½βοΈ

We have an absolute need to revamp instruction in civics and accurate history curriculum on a nationwide basis. An informed citizenry is essential to a democracy. These are at least uninformed voters.

Musk is not a lobbyist. You have to be registered as a lobbyist, and there's probably a background check. This little committee is not part of the government, not part of any agency, not a Congressional committee. All he can do is make suggestions. All the GOP needs to do is ignore his suggestions and be a real Congress that uses personal courage and intellect to make decisions. Go GOP, you can do it. This is your Profiles in Courage moment. Walk upright again.

A gag order, please, an early Christmas gift to the entire GLOBE after years of chaos and buzzing phones!

Best therapy is action, in my opinion. Midterm elections are right around the corner in 2026. Let's celebrate 250 years of DEMOCRACY with 60 Senators and House majority so that we have the votes we need to pass legislation and repair the damage. SCOTUS reform, clearly written law stating what we have never needed to put on paper before: felons cannot run for president. πβοΈπ½βοΈπ

Beyond sad that the nation, no, the globe, is still stuck in this drama. We were almost free. We were already imagining what it would feel like to never see his face, hear that greasy voice, ever again. To have more oxygen to breathe, unmolested by his firehose of lies. It will take a lot for me to ever forgive the millions of "voters" who did this to our nation. Midterm elections in 2026. Let's be prepared. ππ½π

Not true, an incredibly high number of legal cases have already been filed, and most have already achieved results. Many employees have regained their jobs. Stay alert, stay aware. π½βοΈπ½

Also, we cannot sit back and enjoy the show. Democracy is not a spectator sport. It is 100% about participation. BTW midterm elections are right around the corner in 2026. We need 60 Senators and the House majority so we can pass legislation to repair some damage. Not a spectator sport. Let's get to work. In other words, what would Jimmy Carter do? Grab the hammer, let's build the House. βοΈπβοΈ

Is it 0.18? He does look upset. Lol π

Maybe Speaker Johnson can put some muscle behind getting the Gaetz report finished and released? It would eliminate the guy who likes to use that "one objection removes the Speaker of the House" thing. Hmmm.... Come on Johnson, provide a service to the nation.

Β @alexandercain732Β What would it take to find another candidate for her district in GA? Why wasn't Flowers good enough in 2022? I had a theory that he had lived several years in VA (lots of military in VA) and therefore didn't seem authentically Georgian anymore? Don't know if that's what happened... Please GA help us out. I don't think I can hear her voice on the news much longer!π¦π»π¦

Β @redrhinos55Β No, the USA military will not obey an illegal or immoral order. So even the Commander in Chief has limitations. As it should be. However, the voters obviously should not put our military in this position. Voters, be responsible and VOTE. ππβοΈπ½βοΈππ

Democracy depends upon an informed citizenry. The lack of quality civics education and accurate history curriculum in our public schools has become an existential threat. There should not have been low information voters voting for this guy. Period. This administration will not want to improve education, so this is a "each one teach one" moment. Let's get going, there's work to do, lots of it. What would President Carter do? It's about our works, not about words. Rest in Power President Carter.

Hope they got their money up front. πΆπ΅π΅

The wheels of justice grind slowly but exceedingly sure.

Seems someone took down my response. I'll see if I have some time later, but... Really, the key board warriors are not going to create change. That's up to us, the real voters.
7
Of course they grew up with more, but I'm not sure that's the same as being spoiled brats. Isn't Sam a firefighter? Doesn't sound like the job a spoiled kid takes on.

Iron clad is hard to promise on anything but.... They have 11 checks with the pumpkin headed grifter's weird signature. That's 11 counts. Add 11 fraudulent ledger entries, 11 bank transactions to process those checks, that's 33. See how this goes? Anyway, soon he will be a memory. How many of the Watergate goofs can you name?

He did a movie about the advertising campaign for the Chilean election that finally eliminated Pinochet. Sounds like a really dry boring movie right? Gael made it great! I think he can do anything.

Telling the truth is the whole job of being a journalist, so if you fail at that what's the point? That's not being a perfectionist, that separating truth from lies. We must value truth and fact checking as a nation. Since 2016, truth has been hard to come by. Enough.
6
I'm pretty sure my comment (that was too dangerous to read?? What?) was about Senator Murkowski (Alaska) and Senator Collins (Maine) and finding a way to get inside the bubble like Mayor Pete did with Fauxnews. People can be taught things that they don't want to learn; patient long-suffering creative and determined public school teachers do it everyday. It's time for "each one teach one".

Everyone else says, "I'm sorry but I cannot comment on current litigation." This guy......βοΈπ½βοΈ

I think Major was the hyperactive shepherd. Major doesn't live at the White House anymore, another family member adopted him. Commander was the replacement. I think he's more calm? Haven't heard about any west wing attacks since Major left, I think.
5
Adams is a joke. I can't wait to vote him out.
5
The pumpkin headed grifter has already exhausted his supreme court challenges.
5
I bet a lot of people would love to see the orange transcript from Wharton. C 's? D+?

There were many talented people who ran for Mayor in the last election. Two of my favorites were a former legal counsel and a former Sanitation official who was crucial to resolving unexpected situations during the pandemic. This was the first time that ranked choice voting was used; some people feel that might have been a factor. Adams certainly had more name identification that others, but he has been a bitter disappointment. He loves photo ops and media attention, but he cannot do the job and he cannot respond to crisis. I cannot wait to vote him out.

All I want for Christmas is.....the parallel universe where President Harris is finalizing her future cabinet. BTW Vice President Walz hΓ s been vetting an awesome group of master teachers for Secretary of Education.

Β @what8562Β So so sad....

Β @playnicechannelΒ Thank you for saying this. Everyone in MTGs district supports her nonsense? That is just not the case. I do remember seeing some video from a town hall where an elderly woman scolded MTG thoroughly and made it clear that she was an embarrassment to the area. Better grassroots organizing might find the unofficial town leader that people in that district look up to. Let's run that candidate. Her constituents are all ignorant rubes, really? That's stereotyping and prejudice too.

I thought it was just me. Normal stuff is getting removed, don't know why. Ohh well. βΒ @HermitOnWheelsΒ

We will recover, and fast. Midterms happen in 2026. Not too soon to prepare. 60 Senators and the House majority. Perfect way to celebrate 250 years of DEMOCRACY. πβοΈπ½βοΈπ. We will resist. Presidents are not kings.

It is true that more whales than usually have beached near Atlantic City and Brigantine NJ recently; two in December, two more in January. There were only five whales stranded in all of 2021, so that is a big increase. No one has proved that it is related to wind development, especially because the wind turbines haven't been built yet. There is a North Brigantine Natural Area, a nature preserve and marine life organizations so there really are some folks in the area who know what they are talking about. Most likely it is related to boat strikes, but there were some pre construction studies that used sonar, so....Whales use sonar so they might have gotten confused? Anyway, four whales in two months is concerning. It seems to me that MTG heard 25%of a news story, and then filled in some inaccurate conclusions to justify a rant to generate content for her website. On the other hand, four whales in two months ... Finding out what's really going on makes sense to me. Not a joke. Just don't let MTG within a mile of the research.

More civics

Not sure what you mean by protest. The point is getting things done, and right now the goal needs to be 60 Senators and the House majority so that we can pass legislation. We cannot wait for the GOP to clean out their party and relearn the skills of negotiation and compromise. Legislation is needed.

"Get up. Move faster." Robin Hood Prince of Thieves was probably one of my favorites ever!! Also the best sheriff of Nottingham with the great Mr Rickman. ππ½οΈπ

I agree. It's time for a few of the biggest musicians to take a stand on Ticketmaster. Maybe their managers and accountants and lawyers are still wrapping their heads around the whole thing. Indy artists cannot do it, the pushback has to come from the big artists.

Like Three Mile Island was just an accident.

Aren't these the same guys who didn't want to give rail workers sick days? What a bunch of snakes.

Β @ingmo9Β Hope is great. Planning is even better. Look for the office of your local DNC. Volunteer doing any little thing. Making coffee, handing out flyers, etc. You'll meet people and be in the loop about the issues for the next election. You'll start getting to know the young talented people in your town who might become candidates. Good luck. Stay active, it lowers the worry. Stay awesome! πβοΈπ½βοΈπ

Show me your phone! Lol

So WEIRD to watch this in 2024. Yikes. The packing boxes!! Yikes. Please search those boxes for documents!! Please. And, yes, Mitch needed to vote for his impeachment to prevent him from running for President again in the future. Yeah, Mitch, the nation will never forgive you for that move. Vote carefully everyone. If we lose our democracy, we won't get it back. Up and down the ballot. πππππππ½
