  3. But Tennessee does not have red flag laws. That's the problem. No way to track or share the information. Did the five gun vendors know (or care) that she had bought 7guns? Don't the police want to know when someone is amassing an arsenal like that? It seems in Tennessee, no. We want to blame mental health, but we don't want to do anything to put an actual plan in place. The deflections, the denial, the enabling of irresponsible gun vendors who are making buckets of money. I just can't anymore. ... Comprehensive federal gun safety legislation is overdue. Get to work Congress. The states cannot handle this issue.
