That would balance the second amendment and send a message to this SCOTUS that gun safety is the will of the majority of the USA population. Although ratification is a complex process, it is not impossible and it's no longer possible to endure this daily carnage while we do nothing. Ratification would also require every state legislature to debate gun safety issues and keep the topic front of mind, rather than what we do now: empty thoughts and prayers, do nothing until the next tragedy, rinse and repeat. Enough. The constitution is meant to grow with the nation. We are overdue for a new public safety amendment to provide a strong foundation for comprehensive federal gun safety legislation.   16. Repeal PLCAA (2005) to restore liability to gun manufacturers, and their own lawyers will insist on gun safety protocols at point of sale to demonstrate due diligence in court proceedings. Also, support the Buffalo survivors, also victims of hate in that mass shooting. They are beginning a lawsuit to hold gun manufacturers responsible for the PTSD they endure on a daily basis. Enough.
