  1. Actually they are refugees seeking asylum. We have laws that cover refugees, so we really need to stop using that "illegal" word. What if we build better relationships with the other countries in our hemisphere? That might get to the source of some of the problems causing people to flee their home countries. Remember the Monroe doctrine? Let's show some responsibility within our hemisphere.

  2. Biden hasn't taken down any "wall" just stopped building more of that foolish thing. The army corps of engineers have better projects to work on. Please look into what was actually happening with some of that wall build. Blasting through canyons, placing ugly scars on the land, creating a hazard to wildlife. None of it had been planned or studied, and that doesn't even touch the grifter Bannon who was using the wall to cheat people out of their money. The real fix for the border is updated comprehensive immigration legislation. Decades overdue. Get to work, Congress. And I'm talking to you, Mitch.

  5. As reported by PBS news hour, the federal government contributes some funds to border states to assist with immigration processing. So I guess Texas and Florida don't mind returning that money to Washington DC. Maybe they can put a bag of cash on the next bus out. And FLA was misusing COVID recovery funds for this stunt? Wow. Or they can start behaving like they know how to govern.
