  1. OMG, yes! I used to do some of that too! I had absolutely NO money when I got my first apartment, so everything came from church flea markets or neighbors who were unloading donations. So my measurements were basically the glass teacup, the weird tablespoon, biscuits and pie crusts were rolled out with the tall glass, etc. A fun way to build a kitchen, because every tool has a story!! Unfortunately, the glass tea cup inevitably breaks after a while. 😞 So a bit more prosperity moves you towards the Pyrex measuring cup, etc. Fun too.
