As a lawyer, with today’s statement about a peaceful settlement, Putin absolves himself of all legal and moral responsibility if Ukraine refuses these proposals. Everyone understands that Ukraine will not agree to any peace agreements, and Putin also understands this. And from this it follows that something very tough awaits Ukraine in the very near future.
