They see the recursion, the Fibonacci, the Fourier, the quantum mechanics, the complexity in everything. They aren't setting out to tell the computer to do something (necessarily). They are setting about the proper conditions to see something done. It isn't linear 'if-this-then-that'. That's not how the world works.
