It's their proprietary tech; they can manage it however they want and your participation is at-will. If you don't like it, you are under no obligation to use it. That'd be like complaining that there isn't enough porn on Netflix, shovelware on the Apple Store, or extra aisles in the grocery store for you to have a garage sale. You don't have the right to tell them wtf to do without being a shareholder.
