  2. Matt didn't learn just from anime lol In AJATT, most of the time you'll be putting anime on (after 2yr) for passive immersion while you are reading LN or repping cards. Similarly, he watched alot of Japanese TV/talkshows (I think Sugita Tomokazu) etc. The point is to be constantly surrounded by the language as a native learner would be.
