The little boy Ali, waving his hand, saying he can “arrange everything”, what a cutie. It’s like he wants to be a grown up, in charge of negotiating. Truly adorable.

Yan, your grandpa is 90 years old and still cuts his own wood? That’s fantastic. I totally get it, that it would be challenging for him to understand the concept of making a living with social media. He wants the best for you as his granddaughter 😌 It makes me so glad that you value your grandparents. Mine are already gone, I wish I could see them one more time. I’m sure that if you grandpa understood the work you do, he’d be happy - because you’re happy too! Thanks for sharing this moment with us.

God bless you brother, it would be great to have more Catholic brothers and sisters in Japan 🇯🇵

I need to make a correction, I called him Ali but that’s his last name, it seems his first name is Mehmet.

Thank you for that historical explanation. I had no idea the arabs had been to this part of China. It’s nice to learn these little bits and pieces in a fun way.

@CSP2150 I don’t understand what your comment was about, but God bless you and May you have a fulfilling life.

Listening to your speaking while trying to catch your breath, you’re always so honest and real — it’s like we are there with you — so I myself started having trouble breathing 😬 You make beautiful videos, they are like a documentary.
24
Thank you for supporting her work.
20
Very nice description of who she is, very true.

Thank you so much for the video and raising awareness of the situation of many yazidis. I’ve just started subscribing to your channel, what a gem, so happy I found it.

This is very interesting, Yan. These thermal baths sound amazing. That’s unfortunate that they don’t sort out the natural spring baths into men’s and women’s (like the Japanese do).
17
“The future is something so far away right now”. I can imagine, for someone in his situation, living only day by day, that’s how it feels. That is a good capture of his stare of mind. Thank you for this interview, Yan.

I had never seen a video of Armenia, so I have learned a lot today. Yan, there are some other very beautiful Christian churches around the world, you will love them too when you see them. Happy travels!

@littlechineseeverywhere Yan, those drone shots of the jeep in the desert could rival a Hollywood production. Amazing work. Nicely done!
12
@agnidas5816 I find that nowadays, not a lot of the younger generation learns about those atrocities. History should not be forgotten, or we may repeat it. It’s strange that this isn’t taught at schools (at least not in North America)

@littlechineseeverywhere incredible footage as always. I really enjoy your videos. I’m concerned about the monkeys. If they get too tame, they can do a lot of damage to property. For example, food businesses and food stands, how do they manage to keep these monkeys away? I’m very curious about that!

Hi Yan! Thank you for making this video. I had seen pictures of this city before and was very curious about it. Now you took us on a tour alongside you to see it up close. Great job!
9
Greetings Yan! I love the music you select for your videos.
9
Your videos are always a beautiful production. Great job.
9
annoworldbridger why do you say that?
9
Amen 🙏🏼

There is definitely so much to do when you work in a farm! I agree with you, everyone should spend some time in a farm and appreciate the tough job that it is.

Hi Yan, I’m not sure if you visited any of the sites which now are under rubble due to the earthquake. But I’m just hoping that the friends you made in Turkey are ok. You are so lucky to have travelled when things were alright. It’s so overwhelming how one day everything is normal and the next day buildings are collapsing. Do you know if anyone has sent you any news?
7
I think I might have just done drone footage, and not gone up there. Yikes! 😮
7
Amen 🙏🏼

Same here. I admire her adventurous spirit and courage to go to these remote places, placing herself under the care of people she’s never met before! And the she shares her adventures with us, indeed it’s great.
5
Me too… what happened to the cute dog?
5
@Monica_M good for you. I used to travel a lot, and I’d always look up Catholic Churches so I could attend mass (even if I didn’t speak the language). I wish you an excellent trip. I hope someday I can visit Japan too.
5
Yan: “how is life there?” Cab driver: “not good. Like us in the 60s, 70s” You know what? That gives me some hope, since things got better for China over the decades. And I love that the driver adds: “but you wouldn’t know this, you’re so young” “ ❤❤❤

Hi Yan, I was enjoying your video, everything seemed so nice and peaceful… but the animal being slaughtered took away that beautiful feeling 🙁 Sorry but I need to go watch something else now. This is just some feedback, maybe you can give the viewer a warning next time.
5
It is ironic for sure. I’m glad she finds such welcoming folks.
5
Wow. I can’t imagine driving for 12 hrs and not seeing another car on the road! It’s almost apocalyptic. Which town did you travel to?
4
Wow, I don’t know how you managed to find these places back then (before GPS was wide spread... It’s pretty cool that you have visited these less known places.
4
You’ve got yourself a new subscriber. I love that you go to less touristy places. That’s where you find the real people’s spirit. Great work, love the music you selected.
3
Very informative, Yan, and congrats on getting your channel monetized, that will certainly help you travel more and further! 👍🏼
3
@littlechineseeverywhere hi Yan! I was going to ask if you were going all the way to Moscow, is that journey on your future plans?
3
Enjoying my fourth video now, it was a pleasure to see your family and how you all prepared together for the new year festivities. They are all so happy. I’m looking forward to your other videos. The music you select, must be Chinese classics? I love it, it really adds to the atmosphere.
3
@MKVideoSinzig I lived in Germany. I know that. I don’t like it. Everyone is different and in a lot of cultures, this is not appropriate.
3
I also love Yan's videos but I agree, the slaughtering could have come with a warning to fast forward. I have not been able to watch any more of the video, but I look forward to future ones.
3
@yat-sanlee1123 this is interesting, thanks for the info. Indeed, in order to retain any languages we learn, we need to practice it or the brain will “store” it and it will be more difficult to recall the vocabulary, grammar etc.
3
Wow, that is interesting...
2
I agree, they were very cute, God bless them.
2
@gechu-gh2ws well, I’m a “westerner”, I just wanted to know why he said what he said. But I’m not sure he’s going to leave a reply. I was genuinely curious, though.
2
@tehcsiamg3185 thank you for your explanation. Cheers
2
@大智八四 thank you for your reply. May the Lord bless you and keep you 🙏🏼Amen.
2
Hi there, I agree with you that the slaughtering should have come with a warning. I have not been able to watch the video any longer. But I look forward to Yan's future videos.
2
Great video, as always, but those black bugs kinda creeped me out 😶😁 (Did you ever find out what kind of disease they help cure? The man said it was medicine for something...)
1
@littlechineseeverywhere thank you very much for this. Not many channels show so much of China as you do. Best wishes.
1
I'm sorry you feel this way. I did not like the slaughtering scene, it should have come with a warning. But we are in no position to judge others. None of us is perfect.

18:44, while I'm watching her speak to the friendly grandma at the market, suddenly the guy on the bike carrying a bunch of gas cylinders on his bike... 👀👀👀
