  1. The report says he was in track and field. I've also seen videos of guys who did martial arts and and fighters who intervened and saved people. I think if we encouraged more kids to be active, find a sport they like and invest in it, we would increase the ability to have good samaritans. I know it also depends on the character, but usually sports build character as you need dedication and self discipline to excel in it. One of the problems of this generation is video games which makes them quite sedentary.
