  7.  @emiliek4002  I’d say conservative Canadians like Americans, especially if they’re not Democrats. Respectfully I’d ask you not to paint us with such a wide brush. It’s possible you live in a Canadian city that’s mostly liberal, that could explain your experience.

  13.  @MetricImperialist  add China to that. They’ve already made claims for Arctic territory. Nobody in the mainstream media has shared this, of course, because someone in power loves their regime. And then people think there’s “nothing” of interest in Canada… and it’s not just the Arctic, we have immense amounts of fresh water (even underground) and oil. And tons of minerals.

  15.  @stickjohnny  there’s strategy in everything he does. The guy isn’t a billionaire by accident. He decided this was the better path on the long term. We don’t have to agree with everything he does. He’s still a proponent of free speech and for that I’m thankful to him.
