  4.  @lukel121  there's nothing graphic in the Bible, at least nowhere NEAR what the Senator has read. And I would much rather a child read about the horrors of war, to learn about the evils is brings - and because the context is: this NOT a good thing. Much rather that, instead of it being placed in a context where this depraved sexual behavior is ok.

  5.  @lukel121  You have note answered my question but now I KNOW you are not a parent. ''if you don't want your kid to read it then tell them not to.'' Do you know how many times, on average, a parent has to tell their child something, until they learn? I will give you a very simple example: ask any parent how many times we had to tell them to say Please and Thank you. You are meddling with a subject that you have no qualifications to be discussing.

  6.  @danoneall4013  yes, if I had a child around kindergarten age, I’d be homeschooling. I’d much rather we be a little poorer, but save our child’s soul - and mental & physical well being, than send him to be indoctrinated. My child is finishing high school, on a specialized program. I’ve kept my eyes open and have been part of school parent councils.  But no way would I let a small child of mine venture into the system. Most parents can help with homework until grade 5/6.  That’s 7 years without being exposed to this filth. Well, take care. Wishing you all the best in Egypt.
