  1. Question : How many of Garribaldi's men were actually from Southern Italy? Does anybody know. The War decided that the King in Torino would rule the South of Italy. The King in the South had no ambitions to rule the North or centre of Italy. He wanted to mind his own business. The could have reached a far more peaceful agreement.
