  1. Yes. And Morroco is a ally of Washington. Has been for years. In return Washington and Brussels have ignored Western Sahara's right to self determination. Neither Washington or Brussels are making any complaints about the continued occupation of Western Sahara by Morocco. The hypocrisy is all evident in Algeria. Algeria has been raising this issue, for years, and the Western media has dodged the issue.

  2. Ah, yes.... The EU and asking the people. In one country it was determined that EU Treaties must be put to the electorate. This came as a result of an expensive courts process. That happened in no other country. As a result the Irish will get a referendum, maybe. Irish referendums on EU matters work like this. The EU makes a proposal. The corrupt politicians of Ireland spend a fortune selling it. The corrupt media endorse the EU proposal. The people reject it. Then, the politicians and media talk about reflection and consultation. Then they ask the question again, and spend even more money pumping the people into submission. Keep voting until Brussels gets a satisfactory result. And, everywhere else the people are bypassed.
