  1. WW1 - changed sides. Outnumber Austro Hungary 3:1 on the Alpine front. Lost continually until the British and French increased the odds even further. Spanish Civil War - lost all their equipment, even though they were taking orders from the winning side. WW2 an endless absurd debacle.
