  1. In Ireland one university ( backed by all taxpayers) has a 1 billion euro pension deficit!!!!! The government's solution has been to locate a hospital 1 mile away, to push up it's ranking, in an attempt to enable it to charge higher fees!!!!!! Leverage is always provided as the answer, to the problems caused by leverage. Effectively the taxpayers get asked to bailout the same body multiple times.
