  1. What is most insightful, is veneer liberals making statements of disapproval against an elected government in Taiwan. The government in Taiwan is representative of the people's wishes, and exists by the rule of law. [ The Democrats might wish to take note of that second point, in respect to the Clintons]. Taiwan does not imprison people to shut them up. Neither does it commit Arkanacide. This is a PR master-stroke by Taiwan. Trump has not caused a diplomatic problem. He is handling matters in a very pragmatic and honest manner. Unlike Obama's "Asia pivot" (designed to antagonize the PRC) Trump's communication is non-militaristic, and offers a path of reducing the militarism in the region. The NYT, CNN and WaPo seem to ignore that Obama spent 8 years deliberately provoking the PRC. In fact, Trump's approach is common sense. There is a country called Taiwan, that is effectively functioning as an independent political sovereignty. The real scandal is the disconnect that arose, when Washington supported Taiwan in the military sphere (for profits) and ignored Taiwan politically (again for profits made by outsourcing manufacturing to the PRC). Liberals are being exposed for their consistent hypocrisy.

  2. Many people are looking at this video with laptops or computers that are assembled in Taiwan, or else assembled in the PRC with components made in Taiwan.

  3. Actually, for liberals it is acceptable for unelected appointees, in Brussels to dictate to others. Just look at the mess in Greece.
