  2. I watched it late last night, thinking that there wou lkd be a pause followed by a speech. The "discussion" was ridiculously scripted. It was highly patronsing, and contemptuous towards the French - a series of opaque, ambiguous sentences that clarified nothing. He had no actual message. He had no purpose. It was amateurish. I can only conclude, that the entire debacle was designed to impress the media. It was yet an other episode in a lobg running saga called "Macron does not care about the French".

  3. The Pope already outlined the only sensible option. The result was that he inflamed political demons in Kyiv, Warsaw, Tallinn....plus the media.
