  3. The UK economy has a serious debt problem. However, on the positive side, Britain is very competitive compared to any point in time since Thatcher. It really is about debt management. The French economy has a competitiveness problem, a debt problem, many tax problems, many labour market problems, a pervasive corruption problem, a law&order problem, etc.... That is what happens when communistic/socialistic politicians are in charge. Including Macron.
