  1. Spain's political rackets have repeatedly sold out the people for EU grant money. It suited mediocre politicians whose vote getter always amounted to promises of money. Meanwhile the Spanish are being cheated repeatedly, with countries like The NL, IRL, BE, LUX and others routinely operating tax fiddling as the basis of economic activity. Spain is far too honest for the EU. And too honest for Spanish politicians.
