In the higher levels of the BLP, there is the assumption that Robinson costs them votes, and ultimately, is costing them power. The BLP does all it can to maintain a protection racket approach to the working class, effectively controlling certain sections of the electorate. There is a collusion to prevent Robinson from embarrassing the BLP, the Tories, the Libe Dems, and indeed the entire media.
