  5. Well, we do not know for certain if the Ukrainians would be better off merged with anybody else. I think the best route for the Ukrainians is to follow a Swiss path. Strict neutrality. Mind your own business. Minimal corruption. Minimal centralization of authority. Secure borders. Mutual respect of languages, beliefs, etc. But... Washington wants another Iraq.
