All of the three dominate media organs in Ireland are extremely centralized, extremely socially liberal, relentlessly pro-EU, and pro-corporatist. O'Brien's media is the same as the other two. All three media organs are also rather silent on the matter of investigating corruption in the Irish state, the EU, and large US multinationals who have prominent influence in Ireland.  While most Irish political parties have had past indiscretions in terms of murdering people, robbing banks, corruption, and lying, Provisional Sinn Fein ( Marxist cult) have raised this to an art form.

Banks deciding to refuse business because a person is involved in politics, is allowing a bank too much power. Simply put, the banks should not be allowed this power in a person's political conscience. Regardless of that person's personal thoughts. If banks behaved like this on the basis of spiritual / religious affiliation, there would be outrage.
