Just wondering.... But if a diplomatic process takes 8 years.... Does that not indicate a failure in diplomacy?
80
It's Phony Tony. Bush Junior's poodle. The standard bearer of Corporatism.Back to provide everybody with a laugh. Soft interview. She never asked him to explain his warmongering. In fact he explained nothing. He sounds like a Lib Dem. Maybe that should be a warning to the Labour Party. Murder in Iraq, and rape in Rotherham. No questions for Phony Tony on that.

This is Theresa May, preventing an embarrassment to Theresa May, that may result in her no longer be the PM. This is about power, and nothing else.
45
Where was the display of righteous indignation when Iraq got invaded?
26
I get the impression that the Ukrainian military are about to launch a round of repression against internal dissent.
20
This amounts to a stimulus package for the media.
15
The Global Chessboard by Zbigniew Brzyzinski has marked out your country as being special. A special square on the board. Pity the people on any square.
12
Turkey also - imprisoned journalists - closed down dissenting media - invaded it's neighbours - operates proxy armies in the neighbourhood - has produced a long series of contemptuous and disgusting remarks directed against it's neighbours. I recognise the current government in Istanbul as being repressive aggressive and a bad neighbour.

Yes. The longer this continues, the better for Boris. Prevents the Tories replacing him as leader. The clown is thinking of himself again. He is also increasing the existing extreme paranoia in the Kremlin. The one thing Boris did not do was de-escalate this. At no point did he try a proper negotiation. In fact Johnson and Truss are useless at negotiating. Just look at Brexit. Johnson could have given the Ukrainians a trade deal after Brexit. Instead he was flying around like a fool. We do not want a long war. The rest of us are hoping that this fizzles out, and that ordinary Russian conscripts just walk home like happened in 1917. If we changed our approach and stopped being so eager to murder them they might realise that we are not the degenerates that the Kremlin believes. They might just realise the absurdity of it all. They might refuse to follow orders. Instead our leaders are telling the Russians that they want to murder them. Our leaders are escalating this.

Can we unphuck everything that he has phucked up, though ?
8
Because the same interests that rented him, are in control of the Judiciary, also.
8
This war is proving profitable like all the others.
7
In the first sentence the word "could" is key....
7
Next, Liz will announce punative sanctions against those who illegally invaded Iraq, and bombed the Iraqis for years before robbing the oil from other them. Liz is so strong.
6
I have not seen the media this focused since Julian Assange was deliberately left out of the news.
6
How many voted for Prime Minister Liz Sunak ? Or Prime Minister Sunk ?
6
Zelensky is clean. Poroshenko is an oligarch himself.
5
Phoney Toney claims that an other politician has an agenda. Weapons of Mass Distraction, anybody ? By the way, how much is he making from speeches to rich people, about how to achieve Corporatism ?
5
Not sure about this.... But if Boris Johnson married in a (Roman) Catholic Church ( not CoE) does not not put him slightly on one side of the original Bremain / Brexit split - except of the other side of the argument that he takes in the current split?
5
Excellent news coverage. Why is nobody else covering this story????
5
A problem, now in Ireland. It is a problem in many many countries. The problem is increasing.
5
Question - what does Anthony Blinken want? Because he is effectively the PotUSA. He is also acting as if he has more control of the military in the Ukraine than Zelensky.
5
The RoI would be bankrupt if it was merged with NI.
5
Throw out the television. And put a training bicycle in it's place. That will solve the weight problem, and improve her intellectual capacity also.
4
The UK is filled. But there are lots of empty houses in Eastern Europe. A better idea is to send money to Eastern European countries, and train the Ukrainians to rapidly increase their economy's productivity when the Russian soldiers eventually go home.
4
Like the rogue state that runs Belmarsh prison? What laws of England & Wales, did Julian Assange break to merit being sent to prison???
4
Boris Johnson has NO credibility over the continued ILLEGAL detention of Julian Assange in Belmarsh. What English law did Julian Assange break????
4
He published the home addresses of policemen that he did not like and incited protestors to take it personal with their families. But otherwise h is a victim.
4
But.... But... What about the share price of Lockheed?
4
The CIA and MI6 would never support a Fascist coup, and then supply the Fascists with arms would they? Hold my Chilean beer please.
4
Stick a fork in her....because she's done. She is a turkey, and she is done. Next !!!!!!!!
3
And nobody in the media demanded sanctions against Washington for a century of "regime change".
3
In other words, Blair thinks that Britain is the problem, not the mess that is the corrupt, unaccountable, sleaze run, incompetence riddled European Union. Tony Blair wanted Ireland's corrupt maFFia Prime Minister Bertie Ahern to be the head of the EU Commission.
3
Indeed. They kept the peace during WW2. Oh hold on... They didn't.
3
Some illegal invasions are more acceptable than others. The hypocrisy of our leader creates these wars. Apologies for what our leaders do. Peace.
3
Washington is continually trying to cause tension and regional rivalry. It is, called "divide & conquer".
3
Agreed. The need a Swiss type solution.
3
Another word salad. Another selection of nuanced Clichés about something that is not the responsibility of the speaker. More language of hope about a mess that Liz Truss and Daddy pig helped slide into existence. Another Westminster politician with much more to say about the Ukraine than about the UK. Another country whose borders will be defended to the last inch by a politician who presides over a porous sieve in Kent. Another clown from the Johnson circus.
3
Jimmy Carr is a comedian but he is not funny. Boris Johnson is a Prime Minister but he is not serious.
2
The basis of Putin in power is the manner in which our "experts" made themselves available to wreck Russia after 1992. Our leaders repeatedly broke their trust. End result is Russian paranoia. Our leaders need to apologise and help their society. Just like we did with Poland. That "performance" by Johnson makes everything worse. It is about keeping him in power. He is fractional Putin himself.
2
Bumbling, blundering, boozing Boris. Now he is eager to jump into bed with two Shariah run tyrannies. Has Mrs. Johnson got anything to say about this? Or in this case, is her political correctness switched off?????
2
It was completely lacking when negotiations were in progress
2
Well imagine that..... A Socialist not letting go of being the boss.
2
Jeffrey needs to ask his wife to ask Carrie to ask Boris.... Jeffrey, Boris has a track record if disappointing everybody. BorExit
2
Fair point. A BoJo relationship goes great, as long as the two involved are not married.
2
No country has received this much outrage since Julian Assange got imprisoned in Belmarsh.... Of hold on .... Where is the media coverage of Julian Assange.....
2
Women in Britain, Ireland and Scandinavia spend much more time watching television. And then there is the US......oh dear....now there is a problem with couch potatoes.
2
A load of Boris from a liar and a drunk.
2
If he stays in Ukraine, Boris will be even more useful to Britain. The further away, and the longer he is away, the better for the UK.
2
That Hamas commander is no longer remaining.
