Saudi Arabia has made Paris more dangerous than Beirut.

"when Thatcher was voted out of office". ( actually Thatcher was undermined by an internal rebellion, after a populist revolt over the poll tax). Critical thinking ? No. Just a load of lazy cliches. The only think he got right - Obama is a showman.

Wake up !!! He produced a clip full of inaccuracies, and cliches. You are telling the world that you are as clueless as Byrne.

The title is a complete misnomer. Byrne does not think critically. He just expounds in negative cliches about others, and positive declarations about himself. And he likes feeling sorry for himself. The exact opposite of moral courage. He feels that he can cover it up, by posturing leftist nonsense.

Saudi Barbaria - the problem is not the ruler, it is the entire belief system. The place gave most of the 9-11 attackers. And I don't remember Lindsay Graham complaining about the Saudi regime at the time.

Hit CNN where it hurts. Please sign the petition to have CNN dropped from the airports. Give the weather channel, or Hallmark channel the slot instead. At least they are not Fake News.

Along the way, the mainstream media is programming those who do not question the narrative, to new levels of absurdity.

Great to hear Chris Hedges.

The earlier episode involved Gabriel Byrne feeling sorry for himself, and meandering aimlessly. And blaming the Catholic Church, and Thatcher (both of whom advocated personal responsibility). This is about Byrne blaming the British. And the Republicans (the ones in the USA, not the ones in Northern Ireland murdering people - he never said one bad word about them). Always....somebody else is responsible, and he is wallowing in self-sympathy. If you are a sucker for people feeling sorry for themselves, then you will be absorbed by this.

Exactly. Gabriel Byrne is extremely inaccurate. The Falklands were settled by mostly Scots in the early 1800s. They were British. They were occupied by a military dictator. And Thatcher was correct to kick the military dictator. Byrne is NOT a critical thinker. Byrne IS a professional pretender. And that is is evident. He is only as good as his lines. And unfortunately, for Byrne his lines are inaccurate.

"Human civilization as we know it, is at stake" - it is indeed, but it has nothing to do with Global Warming, or another other meteorology based theory. The real threat is far more sinister, and is deeply embedded in socialism, and the promise of more for less, at expense of others, who are deemed only worthy if they get less for more.

The MSM are in control. They will not tolerate what you advised. It does not suit the MSM.

Another Harveywood celebrity meandering aimlessly about economics, victimhood, and himself. Without of course mentioning his own money from the entertainment sector. He regards himself as somebody whose opinion is moral and superior to others. And presses every button. His factual ignorance is astounding - even for an actor. The Falklands were empty islands settled by Scottish and Welsh farmers since the early 1800s. The islands were occupied by a military dictator. And Thatcher kicked him out. Thatcher was in power from 1979 to 1992 (not 1980 to 1997). And Thatcher closed down the mines because they were completely uneconomic. I think I know who screwed up Gabriel Byrne. It was not the Roman Catholic Church. It was laziness, and lack of moral courage. Jumping on leftist clap trap is NOT moral courage, Mr. Byrne.

All the more reason to point out the fallacies in the arguments of Byrne.

The worst leaders that corporate lobbying can buy.

No Saudi Arabia has oil, and expensive weapons. Iran has oil, and soldiers. And NEITHER of them have much in terms of applied intelligence.
