  1. "disgrace"???? I would use the word circus. Also a rotating doors for failed politicians. Ireland's tory party, FG, are fully committed corporatists. Their competitors are close behind. They got full media support resulting in more MEPs to the EP, than any other. A failed Justice Minister who was sacked for incompetence, to quash allegations if corruption. Also happened to prevent prosecutions against a corrupt oligarch who donated 25M USD to the corrupt Clinton Fund. A hereditary liar whose main qualification is her father's name in the political party. A spectator sports body administrator, whose connection with reality is close to non-existent. A journalist who never reported any scandal, in an extremely corrupt country, and used her profile to get out of the corrupt Irish media. An airhead who was relentlessly pushed by the media because of her orientation ( no other qualification). Previous Commissioner was appointed because he cost the party votes. And that is an officially neutral country, that allows the FANGS to dodge tax, does nothing to prevent them selling people's private data, which is always preventing any accountability to such unaccountable entities. They have the backing from an extremely dodgy political establishment, and a media sector whose opinions can be rented. Is any other country any better?
