  1. The treason investigations are serious. Especially anywhere in the former USSR. Because there may have been treason. But whether the Traitors have been caught might be irrelevant. It may just as well be an attempt by those in power to "find somebody" ( in fact anybody) & then make a scapegoat. There are spies. One can be certain of that. It is much harder find out exactly who is doing it. Reacting, out of need for a narrative does guarantee that that the spies will be caught. Which implies that life might get nasty and repressive inside the remaining state system in the Ukraine.
