In the West the media spends so much time pretending that the objective of a person's existence is to acquire and display "status". This is deeply destructive and dysfunctional. Any society that has thus removed will develop better emotional and psychological health. By closing these toxicity promoting "brands" have gifted the Russian favour an enormous benefit.
