  1. With this war in Ukraine I've seen on the news they don't allow men of "fighting age" to flee, but women whether or not they are accompanied by children are encouraged to flee. I think it's an interesting sidenote that something so blatantly sexist is completely ignored by everyone. The notion that men are just expected to go fight and die is so universally accepted even the most progressive media outlets don't think it's even a worthy discussion to have.
