The system also contributes to the decline on relying on family but going back to a time where "middle class" meant 3 or 4 generations living in the same house is not a viable alternative.

Police routinely getting away with crimes that you or I would go to prison for is not a false narrative. The majority of mayoral leadership in all major cities is Democratic that is true but that's because people who live close together understand you have to work together for the community. Anyways, you didn't answer the question. Where are these crime causing policies at and what are they?
