  1. 7:06 the lady cop says "its one of those things where he only had to pull over" but the guy is right about police impounding vehicles. I don't know if they are in bed with the local tow agency trying to give them easy work or what but they do that all the time when it's not necessary. And even though he clearly wasn't trying to escape the officer she still charges him as if he did.

  2.  @greekgod8390  its not an attempt to escape unless you attempt to escape. Driving slowly a block further to pull into your driveway may be illegal but its not an escape attempt.

  3.  @ichigome5554  Okay. Well there is nothing illegal about sleeping in your own car and she was not behind the wheel so no DUI. When the officer approached the guy explained they were there waiting for the store to open which is also not illegal that dispelled any credible claim of suspicion. If the sleeping woman denied ID what possible charges could the officer bring her up on? He was just doing a warrant check at that point as he had no crime or suspicion of a crime. When an officer checks you for warrants it is reported as police contact and could be used against her in the future by a dubious prosecutor who could argue she has "police contacts" in the past as a way to put her character and credibility into question. This is why you should never talk to the police or ID when you don't have to. They are not your friends.

  4. ​ @iidentifyaspureblood943  after serving in the Army for 13 years I learned its one of the most diverse groups of people formed from all corners of the country and US territories with all variety of upbringing, religion and political sway so when I see comments like yours I just chalk it off as someone who obviously never served and just watches too much Fox.

  9. the safest was to transport drugs is to rub the drug all over the car so there are several "false" alerts to the point where the K9 handler gets frustrated and gives up before they find your well hidden stash. Also sew the drugs up in seat cushions and have a cat pee on the cushion so its visible and smelly which will trick the K9 handler into thinking his dog is going nuts because of the yellow cat pee stain. No, I never trafficked drugs just my ideas if I were to try.

  12. the way cops ask if they can search is very intentional. They say "do you mind if we search?" so if you say yes they can 1. claim its suspicious that you mind if they search and 2. they can confuse "yes" with granting permission. Never let cops search your belongings they are not your friends they don't care about you.

  24.  @Irishdynamite  nah, probation is hardly freedom. In the US we have the worlds largest prison population but we are only 5% of the worlds population and we call ourselves the land of the free. China a country with 4x our population has less of their citizens locked in cages. This system we have of criminalizing as many things as possible and putting as many of our own people in cages is just not working.
