  1.  @ichigome5554  Okay. Well there is nothing illegal about sleeping in your own car and she was not behind the wheel so no DUI. When the officer approached the guy explained they were there waiting for the store to open which is also not illegal that dispelled any credible claim of suspicion. If the sleeping woman denied ID what possible charges could the officer bring her up on? He was just doing a warrant check at that point as he had no crime or suspicion of a crime. When an officer checks you for warrants it is reported as police contact and could be used against her in the future by a dubious prosecutor who could argue she has "police contacts" in the past as a way to put her character and credibility into question. This is why you should never talk to the police or ID when you don't have to. They are not your friends.
