  3.  @groovechampion1462  :p I'm a first year biology student (tho this kind of genomics is my hobby big time). the monodimensional thinking of totally forgetting the past beyond year 1000 AD, and especially of not understanding the mechanics of these tests (that it just tries to approximate your vector value, not literally tell you the country you are from, for these, 23andme and ancestry dna are more appropriate) is pretty universal among folk in the comments arguing about results.

Even european russia is populated by eurasian tribes. Overall this admixture derives from various Turkics, Uralics and other siberian tribes. And as far as balts go well lol Russia was dwelled by Balts more than Slavs "Balkan" is just east european with some extra South European and some extra Celtic, Germanic yadayada traces. And East european is again just baltic with some extra germanic,early balkanite and Central asian admixture. But my point stands regardless Bulgaria has a 81.7% incidence of Balkan, 64.8% Greek and a mere 39.9% of East European. For comparison, Germany has 49% east euro lol. Hence there are 0 reasons to assume (even in a joke) that the East Euro is Bulgarian, when it's a not that common of an ancestry there.
