  4. Social democrat doesnt indicate a particular political position/set of policies anymore. Bernie bro is also pretty broad. Most people who call themselves socdems today are either social liberals or something further right like ordoliberals or third wayers (blairites etc). It never really did tbw, it mainly indicated parties and a particular gradualist approach to achieving socialism, that makes use of electoralism. The positions that are more historically aligned with the social democrat label are called democratic socialism today, and used to also exist under the "eurocommunism" label (partly) too a few decades ago. Ive been watching you for many years so i have a relatively good idea of what your views might be atp, and id defo say you fit under that moderate social liberal/progressive liberalism camp. Your views may continue moving leftward as you grow older, or not, but for now, thats where you sit, and are closer to a moderate than a leftist.

  8. in germany its both right and left. When in comes to left wing pro russian actors in Germany, its the party Die Linke. They invited Russian separatist Alexei Markov to their conference and have a pro-Russia foreign policy.
