Its driven by an ultraconservative ideology Highly religious and conservative, even militantly so. Hate of liberal ideals, hate of nonmuslims, hate of pgbt. Well true extremism

@sickowawawa4014 one doesnt need the quran or any other ancient authoritarian ttxt to have an ethical compass. And hence agree with occasional bits of the quran. It does not make you a muslim. It doesnt make sense to tell yourself that you are a muslim if you disagree w the holy book. You dont necessarily need to declare that you left the religion to anyone else if you dont want to however.

@babelouedranger3040 there are a ton of countries of majority muslim population that do not follow sharia law. But you are likely an extremist/"moderate" impervious to reason so Im honestly not expecting any brain here. Sharia law is inevitably the demise of those who push for it too. But other than that, countries with Sharia law have made it pretty impossible for people to leave, in addition to the poverty already preventing that.
