  1. Veritasium Can you do a video on why hands smell burnt if rubbed together fast (or comment?)? Surely my hypothesis would be that the friction generated heat does indeed burn skin cells, but only the superficial, first layer of cells in the stratum corneum. So the superficial layer gets burned off, but because that first cell layer is so thin, the heat is quickly diffused into the rest of the layers and the air, so it only feels warm, not really hot. Iwasnt able to find any info on this myself, so Id appreciate your imput. Im curious lol
